
Kandrea Higgins
Kandrea is an accomplished executive leader with over 17 years of experience in the public and private sectors, specializing in program development, implementation and evaluation. Kandrea has successfully implemented evidence-based interventions to improve outcomes for individuals facing challenges such as mental health, substance use, homelessness, maternal health needs, and domestic violence, as well as those in the justice and child welfare systems. Kandrea has worked with diverse populations across state, local and non-profit sectors in both Nevada and New York.
Kandrea’s expertise spans diverse areas including program leadership and management, strategic planning and execution, team leadership and development, partner engagement, data analysis and program evaluation, and social justice. Kandrea’s commitment to social justice and community engagement has enabled her to create sustainable solutions that empower individuals and strengthen communities.
Kandrea has a strong academic background, having earned a Master of Arts in Public Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, City University of New York. Kandrea is advancing her expertise by pursuing a Doctorate in Public Policy at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
