Jerry Reeves
Medical Director
Dr. Reeves is board-certified in pediatrics, pediatric hematology-oncology and in medical management. He has more than 20 years of experience delivering primary and specialty care in hospital and outpatient settings and has authored more than 50 medical journal publications, worked as an editor for three professional journals and served on the faculty of three medical schools.
Dr. Reeves serves as medical director of the wellPORTAL primary care network serving commercial health plan beneficiaries and of Health Services Foundation promoting health among union health plan members. He serves on the Executive Council of Clark County Medical Society and Nevada State Medical Association.
Dr. Reeves also chairs the Desert Meadows Area Health Education Center, developing skills of health professions students, engaging consumers in better self-management of their conditions and expanding Nevada’s health services workforce.
He has served as Chief of Clinical Medicine for USAF Europe and as Chief Medical Officer of Sierra Health Services and Humana Inc.
