Darlene Douthitt
Darlene is with the Nevada Division of Public and Behavioral Health and provides technical assistance to the community regarding diabetes prevention and management, collaborating and coordinating statewide partners, and communicating with federal funders and partners. Darlene enjoys learning new concepts and activities and she feels gratified when helping to advance health and wellness, providing outreach and educational opportunities to the public.
Darlene holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Nevada, Reno and has always been attracted to roles where she is involved in supporting the community and where she feels a sense of fulfillment from serving the community or even one person in the community.
